Small but beautiful, in every sense of that word. Friendly owners and good and spacious sanitary facilities. Nice that there are platforms to use in the awning. We will definitely be back in the spring!

From here we did the donkey ride. Nice in itself but we got a donkey (josje) with us who was not so experienced and also a bit anxious. This made the whole trip more of a struggle to keep josje in line and one of the children could not get on the back of the donkey. Josje also ran away for a while, causing another child to be thrown from the other donkey because it was startled. The walk was ok, but actually this donkey should not have been given.

After a warm welcome and clear explanation, we went out with Meike the donkey. The directions were clear. It was a beautiful route to walk with a pleasant pause in the village of Almen. The baskets contained biscuits and tasty lemonade and of course chunks for donkey Meike. Meike was very good and walked along nicely. An absolute must, even with small children.

A quietly located campsite with about 15 pitches. 3 toilets, 3 showers. Spacious and sheltered places. Well maintained and in a beautiful setting.

A few years ago, the owners of this campsite lost my trailer because I did not respond to their request to remove it. They made no effort to track me, even though a simple Google command had brought them to my mobile number. Despite my repeated requests, the owners do not want to meet me financially in any way. Quite a pity = sad.
