Town Hall Hilversum

We moved to Hilversum 1,5 years ago. The service at the city hall has always been excellent: fast, efficient and helpful. Today we even used the wassap option and they were fantastic and helped us with our needs. After living abroad across many countries and our second destination in the Netherlands I’d say this is by far the best city hall team I ever dealt with. Good job and another reason to love our life in Hilversum

Love the exterior of this building by the architect Dudok, but the interiors are absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is incredible everywhere you look. It is well worth taking the guided tour (1.30pm Thursday to Sunday) as this gives you a good look round with a knowledgeable guide (we got a guide booklet in English as the tour is in Dutch) and the opportunity to go climb to the top of the tower (over 200 steps). The view from the top is amazing, especially with the autumnal colour at the end of October.

Nice building designed by Dudok.

One of the most beautiful buildings I know: the Hilversum van Dudok Town Hall, with its twinkling light yellow brick, on the edge of the center. Complete with classic courtyard, interior and design have been designed in detail by Dudok (up to and including the gavel of the College of B&W!) The space with the pond around the complex is part of the whole.

Friendly staff but the opening times and parking is not good.
