Great cathedral to visit, some sections are still undergoing work as the cathedral is still partly unfinished. The staff gave us an excellent mini tour and lots of great explanations. The apple cake from the tea shop is really good.

Amazingly beautiful cathedral with many interesting architectural facets. Worth the visit. Climb the tower as well.

You can enter this beautiful cathedral for free, but if you want to go further and for example have a closer look on the altar, you have to pay for a tour. We did not, but the tour guides were extremely nice and were happy to share some fun facts with us anyway. It's worth visiting the cathedral for 5 minutes, even if you are usually not interested in them.

This being one of the real hidden gems of Haarlem. It is possible to climb the towers, giving a perfect view of the city, sea and Amsterdam.
