Crematorium Rijtackers

How can one "like" a cremation service?!? That said: it has an appropriate serenity. It's neither too gloomy nor to bright. The staff understands the role they play in the grieving process very well without being on the foreground.

This location is accessible when travelling to it by public transport. When you want to leave on foot/public transport however, it is impossible. No specific pathways on site, very dangerous highway crossing (no traffic lights or zebra), no signs and no bus stops within walking distance. You have to walk over bicycle paths. Very unpleasant.

Yesterday morning I was much too early for the cremation of Mrs. A. Hoevenaars, and I stood before a closed door of the Luxzaal. No problem: the receptionist had someone open the door. We also got a cup of coffee. After the beautifully arranged ceremony I was waiting for the taxi in the hall where the coffee meal was held. The woman who was cleaning up there (of Eastern origin) was very friendly. She poured coffee for me, offered the bowl of sandwiches and had a nice chat, while she worked hard. TRIBUTE for your friendly staff !!

Present 27-01-2016 a shocking experience! The bill for scattering my deceased wife has been sent to my address where I have not been living for two years! No payment! Then get a bailiff warning! I have to pay 72.50 but I don't know what for! Very, very arrogant treatment by GGN! pay and not nag! that's what it came down to! In the meantime I have discovered through research that it really refers to the aforementioned scattering and that I have never had an account for! In contrast to the insurance department, Rijtackers did not use the correct address! Sloppy Sloppy !! Have now paid, but 4.28 euros more than the bill was! Arrogance must apparently also be paid! I want to leave this behind me as quickly as possible, that's why I paid. Nevertheless, I have a bad feeling about this sensitive matter! Peter Walters response ???????????
