We are now coming here for the 5th time. What a wonderful rest at this holiday park. Unfortunately due to circumstances we had to go home quickly, and almost forgot about half of it. The same day everything was sent by post. So friendly. I always relax here. The Swedish bungalows, the cabins and the heidelodges are fine. (and the wellness loft are brand new so must be super) We also sometimes go to a Ruunderhuusje. They are a bit dated but nice and cheap, we come an extra time. They are always ready to help, anything is possible. Extra mattress etc. The true mecca for nature lovers. I try to post pictures of the great environment. Soon in the repeat I hope.

We had a shepherd's hut for 2.5 weeks. The park is fine. Simple but wonderfully quiet. We have deliberately chosen a simple house, as long as it is clean and the WiFi functions properly (also clearly indicated when booking). After all, in Corona time you have to reserve a ticket online for a museum or zoo visit. The WiFi does not work. It only went a little outside. Even connecting an amplifier in the house did not work. Well, if many people use the internet at the same time, it could be overloaded, was the argument. Moreover, the network is not secured. The house was indeed simple and wonderfully cozy, but they are somewhat dated in construction material and therefore poorly maintained, although I think they really do their best. What really surprised us, it is an old house, with a lot of wood, thatched roof and a geyser but WITHOUT smoke / CO2 detector. 2 duvets don't really smell fresh, so we washed them ourselves. I think in Corona times it is wise to wash all duvets after your stay. We were already warned that there were woodlice in the shower but there was nothing they could do about it. We could then use the vacuum cleaner for this. As seasoned campers we are not easily startled by an insect, but after showering there were a lot of them, it was crawling with them. Injecting a can of poison into cracks and seams worked wonders. (no, not environmentally conscious but sometimes you have to do something) The geyser went out for the first few days but this was quickly remedied and did not occur again. There was a hornet's nest under the thatched roof. It did not bother us, but someone with an allergy would not sit here quietly. Tip from us, there is a huge market for "Tiny Houses". Affordable, because it certainly was, and without much luxury, in a perfect place for tranquility and nature lovers. Renovate well (especially shower room) or demolish and build it new, modernize the technology (WiFi) and we will definitely come again.

We have rented a forest house (beech 48) for 3 weeks. The surroundings are beautiful and the park looks fine, nice and quiet and well maintained. So the park ... The forest house on the other hand ... Really a lot of overdue maintenance. Broken floor, torn bathroom sink, the tiles have been repainted, but with every shower (with a very low water pressure) the paint was peeling more and more from the wall ... the socket in the kitchen was half hanging off the wall, a chair with collapsed seat (which was replaced) the sofa had cushions that were all cracked. The bunk bed is not made for adults (not read anywhere) and I am away with two big adolescent children, so arguing over who should sleep in the bed from 1960 ... The kitchen cupboards hung the doors all crooked. The kitchen sink was leaking into the cupboard, the toilet was leaking at the back, and it smelled like sewage. The shower leaked and the drain did not drain .... everything reported to the reception (most friendly staff by the way) but the man who came to look (owner ??) mainly told that it was all because of Corona that it had not been refurbished yet and everything what was still functional, he was not going to do anything about it now. I indicated that it would have cost a lot of money, but then I should have chosen a more expensive house if I had wanted more luxury .... My opinion? Luxury has nothing to do with this .... Also taken pictures of everything, but unfortunately don't get them posted with this message !!

In August we rented a forest house for a week. As for the house; a lot of overdue maintenance; the tiles in the shower were visibly painted over a while ago and the paint is peeling off more with every shower, the shower curtain is dragging on the floor and the floor drain is visibly dirty, the dark brown tiles make it impossible to see whether the floor actually is clean. The laminate in the living room is damaged by wear and tear, as are all thresholds in the house. The windows in two bedrooms can only be opened slightly ajar; this is not very pleasant in the summer. The bunk bed in a bedroom has old mesh bases, each with a thin cold foam mattress, with every movement the bed creaks in such a way that this can be a nuisance for light sleepers. Doubts also arose as to whether this bed would be suitable for adults. The gas hob dates from the 1960s; not necessarily a major objection, but perhaps from a hygienic point of view. An outer edge / corner of the refrigerator was broken and does not give a neat impression. The seat of a living room chair was defective and sagging. Finally, I have doubts about the fire safety of the house; there was softboard and pressed wood fibers in the ceiling; nowhere to find a fire alarm .... I rented the house based on the photos and the floor plan, if there had been more photos I would not have chosen this house. The rental amount of 725 euros for this week was far too high a price. Next time we would rather spend this amount on a house at the competitor.
