Extremely unfriendly staff, do not go there! When we approached the Café a woman told us we could take her table as soon as she had paid. She had already asked the waitress for the check numerous times. Instead of bringing the check, the waitress started screaming at us that she hated people waiting for tables as we were "driving away the customers". Again, the woman had wanted to pay and leave for some time already. The waitress was so rude and actually asked us to go away although we had literally said nothing. We have never been treated this rudely at a Café before.
The hotelroom is nice, but the bathroom is nothing special. The restaurant has a good wine choice, but the food was nothing special, too. In my opinion, both, the hotel and the restaurant wants to be more, than they are.
Really much money for not even a bit tasty and not nice presented Kibbeling. I am highly disappointed.
Quality by far not what it used to be in the past. Is there a new owner?! Service lacking professionalism, food quality mediocre. Menu and wine choice significantly reduced. While the atmosphere is still outstanding everything else is a real pity. This restaurant used to have Michelin star quality but now it is not anywhere close.
