I like these people! They are always clear about what you can expect: an itemized list of the repairs they do, a maximum price (and it's usually less), they send you an sms when your bike is ready and .... they know their stuff. And they're nice!

Tourists beware! I've lived in Amsterdam for years and rented bikes for visitors 20+ times. Zwarte Fietsenplan is 2-3 times more expensive than all the other bike rental options I've seen. MacBikes and Stadfiets charge 9 euros a day, where this place charges over 18 euros a day! They charge for everything possible to get the price to a ridiculous rate which is simply not worth it. The process of getting the bikes took FOREVER compared to experiences at other places, and there is ZERO FLEXIBILITY. The other bike places I mentioned, you pay when you return the bike and you pay for the time you've had it. This place, you pay in advance for the time and they won't do refunds if you return the bike early. The bikes were also uncomfortable to ride due to saddle placement. Would not recommend this place for ANYONE. Worst bike rental experience I've ever had.
