Late with reservation and already received a No at 2 other rental companies. It was no problem at the Herben company, there were bicycles available. The day later we could pick up the 2 e-bikes, we could even choose between a city bike or a more sporty bike. We preferred the latter! 6 days of wonderful cycling through the beautiful South Limburg. And the Merida is a super nice bike in terms of handling! Mr. Herben was friendly to us by telephone when booking, when picking up and returning, and jokes were made over and over again !! Unfortunately, the bikes could not be brought and collected at our holiday residence, otherwise definitely a 5-star rating!

Mountain bikes rented / reserved by appointment with Jo Herben. At the agreed time it turned out that Jo Herben was not present / closed! Then had contact by telephone with Jo Herben where he indicated that he could only be present 45 minutes later and that the reserved number of bicycles would not be available after all! When making the initial reservation by phone, Jo Herben was too lazy to write down everything himself and ordered the reservation + data to be emailed. The response to that was an affirmation of just a few words without proper salutation or punctuation. Later Jo Herben even denied having sent the confirmation email, which is arguably untrue. Jo Herben did not apologize for that either. Short but good, Jo Herben: - communicates rude - does not keep his promises - is unreliable - lies As far as I am concerned, Jo Herben is not worthy of a customer!

Booked 2 E-bikes online and agreed on when we would pick them up and return them .. The bikes were ready, we were helped neatly both times ... TOP

Rented an e bike and received confirmation that this was ok. Agreed that we would get it at 10.00. No bicycle was available on arrival. Everything was already rented out. No sorry on his part. Really grumpy attitude from the owner. We could make do with that. No bicycle. So if you want to be sure of a bike, do NOT rent it here
