Hertz

October 2018 I booked a car rental through Expedia for this Hertz location approximately 2 months before I arrived. My flight arrived at 1:30am and I scheduled to pick up the rental car at 3:00am since it was supposed to be a 24 hour service. Once I arrived I called several times before finally getting an answer from a person who sounded like I just woke them up from a deep sleep. I inquired about my car and was told it would be delivered to me at 8:00am at my hotel because they were not open 24 hrs as advertised. I was told to get a taxi to my hotel and they would deduct the cost of the taxi off my bill, which was done. When they delivered my 1st rental, it wasn't what I requested and I was given the run around about it. The vehicle was dirty, had several dents and scratches, and the engine was so loud it sounded like an 18-wheeler semi truck. They finally said they would have to get the vehicle I reserved the following day. The next day they once again delivered another vehicle that still wasn't what I originally requested and arranged to get almost two months prior to my arrival there. This 2nd vehicle was a manual transmission instead of automatic like I originally requested. Somewhere along the line it was changed to a manual. I kept it because I was already fuming over the service so far. Like the first one, the 2nd vehicle wasn't clean and had dents and scratches all over it. Later that same night dozens of bugs came out of nowhere from inside the car. They were everywhere.. In front, in back seats, and even in trunk. I don't know exactly what kind of bugs they were but they were like roaches. I had to fumigate the entire interior and trunk area of the car with bug spray overnight. The following morning all of the bugs were dead everywhere inside the car. I had to take it to a car wash to get it thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed. I scheduled the rental for about 3 weeks. During that time I had to continually put air in two of the tires that had slow leaks. The whole process of dealing with this Hertz location was absolutely horrible. Terrible service and I would never use this location again. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Find another rental car place and avoid this one at all cost.
