The classicist town hall in Brześć Kujawski was built in 1824. It is a two-story building with a tower and a portico, which is located on the western side of the market square. It was built on a rectangular plan, it is covered with a gable roof covered with red tiles. The main entrance leads through the portico, supported by Ionic columns and topped with a triangular abutment with the city's coat of arms. The Town Hall is the seat of the local government and administrative authorities of Brześć Kujawski.
The first town hall from around 1332 was located in the middle of the market square, on the site of the former prince's stronghold. In 1667 the building was burnt down by the Swedish army, and in 1820 it was pulled down. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it was renovated several times, but its original character has been preserved.
On March 9, 1988, the town hall was entered into the register of monuments.
