The town hall tower in Bierutów is the tower of the now defunct town hall, which was built in the first half of the 15th century. The Town Hall, as well as most of the buildings in the city, was destroyed several times by fires. In 1945, the interior of the town hall and the helmet were burnt down by the Soviet army. In the 1950s, the walls of the town hall were pulled down, leaving a sad image of a lonely tower, without a clock and with a burnt interior. The tower was not restored until 2004. The ceremonial opening of the tower took place on May 1, 2004 on the occasion of Poland's accession to the European Union. It was also then that the bugle call of Bierutów sounded for the first time, and from then on it is played every day at 12:00. The bugle call composer is a local amateur musician, Jan Juncewicz.

Brick city hall building with a tower from the east. It is located in the middle of the market, probably from the first half of the 15th century. Like most buildings in the city, it was destroyed by fires in 1603, 1659, 1758. After the last fire, the tower was rebuilt after 24 years. In 1935 the facade was made. Currently only the tower without the helmet is preserved. The tower is made of brick, in the Gothic style, plastered. It was built on a square plan, the base of the octagonal helmet, surrounded by an iron railing. The lower part has single rectangular windows. The tower has two round clock faces. In the first half of the 70s of the 20th century the tower was secured, however, it was not until 2004 - 2006 that the eggs were renovated. At the same time, a new clock was installed, which, starting from the day Poland joined the European Union, i.e. from May 1, 2004. daily at 12.00 plays the bugle call of the city. Hejnał is a new work that was composed by Bierutian amateur musician Mr. Jan Juncewicz.

One additional remark to the opinion of Mr. Kalinowski. The last fire of the Town Hall in Bierutów (before the Bernstadt war) occurred in 1945, because the Town Hall survived the turmoil of the war in its entirety. Unfortunately, immediately after the war it burned down, and the perpetrators were most likely "comrades" Soviet soldiers who "celebrated" the victory. There is still a lot of damage attributed to them in Bierutów.
