The town hall itself and the adjoining tenement houses were built in the 18th century in the Neo-Baroque style. Originally, 12 tenements adjoined the town hall, which at the beginning of the 19th century gained the name "12 apostles". The building complex was one unit that looked impressive. Unfortunately, in 1925., Explode in a fire, which destroyed most of the houses in the Market Square complex. A year later, the local architect Alfred Lenza made a partial reconstruction of the building, which has survived to the present time. The town hall building is made of stone, in the shape of a rectangle. It has a rich external facade. The top of the building is crowned with an openwork helmet with a clock. The city hall and the center were revitalized in 2013.

The magnificent market square and the town hall, entered in the register of monuments, are definitely worth visiting. There is a small turret on the roof. The main entrance to the building includes a neo-baroque portal, and on the western wall there is a relief of the town hall with the buildings of the market from before the fire. Adjacent to the town hall are two houses remaining from the former baroque "Twelve Apostles" complex. Currently, the building is the seat of several institutions, including the Registry Office and restaurants.
