The Town Hall in Nowa Sól is one of the oldest buildings in the city. It was built in the years 1574-1575 as the seat of the imperial salt office. It served as the seat of municipal authorities from 1820. The building has been rebuilt and extended many times, and the oldest fragments have been preserved in its northern part. The present appearance of the town hall is due to the reconstruction that took place in the 1930s. Then the tower was raised and the elevation was changed. - The town hall in Nowa Sól belongs to the oldest buildings in the city. The oldest building in the city. It was built around the mid-sixteenth century as the seat of the salt office. Since the first half of the nineteenth century, it has been the town hall. In the oldest part of the object, barrel vaults have been preserved. In the second half of the nineteenth century, a great reconstruction of the town hall into the English neo-Gothic style was carried out according to the design of the then master builder and carpenter Adolf Theodor Jaekel. The building was then given two stepped tops and a tower from the front. In the 1930s, just before the outbreak of World War II, the architecture of the facility was simplified.
