The first town hall in Rawicz was built after giving city rights, it was a wooden building, and it burned down during the Swedish Deluge. The present building was built in the Baroque style, on the rectangular plan in 1753. In 1783, the first lightning rod in Poland was installed on the town hall. Renovations made in 1853 and 1967 did not introduce any significant changes. The eastern façade of the building is decorated with a rococo cartouche with the coat of arms of the city. In the middle of the ridge there is a small turret with a clock, covered with a tin helmet.
