Madpoint Rent-a-car

The service is INCREDIBLE! I had a few concerns before renting because it is my second time using a rental service. We got an E1 group car (Citroen C4 automaic). Madpoint gives you full insurance, possiblity to pay with cash and no deposit if you have over 21y and over 3y of experience. They delivered and picked up the car from our accommodation at no extra cost which makes everything super convenient. The communication is super smooth, we even forgot something in the car and they delivered it to our apartment in the next morning. I have already recommended this to my friends planning to visit Madeira. It is very good!

I rent cars very often (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Croatia...) - but this was definitelly one of my best experience. We were given a very nice, brand new car (Citroen C1) - and they even brought it to our hotel without any problem (without extra cost). No deposit, no problems, no blocked funds on a credit card, no reservation fee, no extra costs and noone was trying to sell us any additional insurance/GPS/wheel chains etc. :D Simply PERFECT!

Great experience with Madpoint. The price a little higher than usual rentals but includes full insurance which is worth for the peace of mind on the crazy Madeira roads. The collection and drop off was super easy, much better than queuing up at the car hire window waiting to be served. Definitely recommended.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We walked in without any reservation and got a car 15 minutes later. No problems with extending the rental either. They even picked up the car from our hotel's parking when the rental was over. Good prices and very helpful staff.

Definitely a great car rental company that I can recommend 100%. We booked a car rental in the evening for the next day, the car was dropped off at our hotel at 9 am, we signed the papers within 10 minutes and we were gone. Unfortunately, our car broke down while going up a steep hill but they solved everything within 3 hours (car towed + taxi to their office). We got upgraded and drove off in a brand new car, at no extra cost! Friendly and professional service and great insurance at a very good price, you can chose them without a doubt!
