Europcar

All rental car companies are pretty bad but this Europcar desk are head and shoulders above Avis, Gold and the rest. Polite, calm and efficient staff and flexible contracts re amendments. If you think Europcar are bad dont even try Avis or Gold.

Horrible, frauded my card.Charged$643 plus.I will go back to Faro and i will sue Europcar.I saw a lot of clients had very similar situation or with key,car etc...and they charge (scam).In Portimao also,France,Germany, Italy,Mexico...a lot of complains in social medias and unfortunately i had the same bad experience with Europcar.STAY AWAY from EUROPCAR

Avoid at all costs - everything wrong with rental companies. Booked & paid online. Took a photo of my booking because I know from experience how they try to downgrade to a “similar model” that is in no way similar for an upsell. Arrived to depot to collect, sent to another depot before being sent back again. Sneakily tried to charge me extra for what I booked but after insisting that they simply couldn’t argue with the photo I took of my booking, they finally had it brought over from the other depot. Told me I couldn’t leave my car in their lot so sent me to nearby parking where I was then told I couldn’t leave my car. Nearly 2 hours passes from scheduled collection time so cancelled my booking in frustration costing me both time and money as I missed an appointment due to their incompetence. Never again.

Rented me a dangerous car that I couldn't use and no refund

Terrible experience, could never recommend these company. Rented a van, prepaid, but when it's not available they promise a refund. Now 4 months down the line I am still chasing my refund. They even had the cheek to reply to my credit card company that I was a no show. Terrible.
