Faro Airport Car Hire Yor Car

Starting from the positive things: easy to find and near airport. Gentlemen, who we returned our car to, was very nice and kind. BUT!! After our arrival, lady at the desk gave us completely wrong information about tools and payments. Wearing mask and being behind the glass made that even worse. By accident we crossed one highway check (1,75 €) and company charged me 20 €. I declined to pay at the spot. Without any words after a month they charged me almost 40 € from my credit card. NEVER AGAIN!!

We were given misinformation about deposits with a prepaid credit card. Turns out this is not possible, but this was never specified, neither in emails or on the website. The lady behind the desk told us "you should ask us about that" but we feel this information should've been on the website or communicated through email when we specifically asked about credit card deposits.

The best car hire is Zit auto based at the airport

I would really recommend this rental company. The pick up is at the airport, PARK 4. When we arrived at the company they helped us immediately. And we were assigned to a brand new fiat 500. When we left Portugal, we brought the car back . 2 minutes from the terminal! No shuttle bus.

Absolutely a disgrace! The car we booked ended up costing twice what they quoted in the first place, the car was filthy and damaged I cannot recommend Goldcars in Faro or anywhere else for that matter.
