VidaMar Resort Hotel Madeira

Conveniently placed hotel near to Funchal and the lido area. Lots of good local restaurants well with a visit. Pool area located near Ocean with nice breeze to keep you cool. Food in hotel restaurant very good with lots of choice for breakfast and evening meal. Would recommend.

Very comfortable and safe with all Covid19 preventative measures in place. Very friendly and helpful staff working very hard to make our stay a wonderful experience. Large very clean room overlooking the Atlantic with beautiful views. Buffet meals great with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, some freshly cooked to order. Would definitely recommend.

I advise you against visiting this place during pandemic. Hotel seems dirty, common areas well worn and way past its prime. Only 1 restaurant works and on less than half capacity, leaving you with an extremely poor food choices. If you are looking for a well located hotel with decent pools and ocean access that's a great place for you but it has nothing more to offer...

All i can say it's a wonderful hotel beautiful room with panoramic sea views and a couldn't fault the food it was excellent definitely looking forward to coming again.

If you were in VidaMar in Albuferia... well it's nothing like it. That was mine main drive and will not happen again. I wouldn't say it's 5*.
