Overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean, this laid-back hotel in a circular tower-style building is 7 km from Madeira Botanical Garden and 4 km from the sandy Praia Formosa. Fantastic place to stay, staff are very friendly, food is delicious

Very friendly and clean. A little dated in areas hence 4 stars but its position right on the water and well maintained gardens and friendly staff make it somewhere worth visiting. Only downside is the hotel bar is a little on the pricey side! So buy in your gins etc and enjoy on your balcony over looking the Atlantic!

Came here to try a dive for the first time with my 9 year old son. Judith eline recommended it. She knew that the instructor had a son the same age as my son. He was great. Made us both feel comfortable. Ralph our instructor was great.
