I'm a current member here. It's nice, always very tidy and the staff is quite friendly. Only issue is with the number of machines - quite limited for advanced workouts. Apart from that, I'm very happy that I signed up - used to be a member of Academia Life Club which was great on all aspects except for cleanliness. The Holmes Place club is more central and luxurious but Academia has WAY more machines. Something to think about if you are on the fence between the two.

A big modern training center. Thank you for letting me try out your premises during my stay in Lisbon. Barbells, kettlebells, TRX, pull-up bars, a dip station. I could find everything I needed and train well. Thanks for the hospitality and attention to Daniela, a friendly and knowledgeable manager!

it's my current gym and I love this gym a bit expensive though but it feels like you are indeed paying for the quality and confort good showers, a lot of equipment in the bathrooms for the ladies, there is hairdryers, hair straigners, lotion, cotton swabs, there is many many many mirrors and mirrored walls, you don't need a lock for the lockers, just memorize a code and ready to use it, any time you need assistance there is a phone in the lockers and they assist you in less then 5minutes

The gym is nice, clean, the spa and changing rooms are clean and always tidy. Staff is polite and most of them speak English. Daniela the memberships manager she is great, polite, efficient and a nice talk too. The only downside once the Jacuzzis water was cold (it only happened once but still standards are standards) and there should be some tissues dispensers in the changing room tables next to the hairdryers. And yes, the weights area is very very tiny and small if was up to me I would knock down the wall next to a studio and sacrifice a studio (they would still have a few) and make a proper sized gym with more machines and equipments. Then it would be 5 stars as the staff and the place they have all the numbers to be excellent but the size of the training area is exaggeratedly small for any gym.
