Clean, spacious well kept hotel. Staff all friendly and efficient. Great choice for breakfast. Didn't have dinner but always appeared to have a good variety. Free coach into town but also good public transport links. Would definitely stay again .

Nice out of town location, but within easy distance & plenty of free transport into central Funchal. Lovely heated pool, spacious rooms, right on the sea front so uninterrupted views from the back where we stayed. Great staff, helpful & friendly. Would definitely return & recommend.

Lovely staff who made a 5 year old feel very special on her birthday by singing to her at breakfast time! Clean, tidy, nicely furnished and very comfy beds....we even received some complimentary little desserts in the afternoon in our room for 5 year old's birthday! Great location nearby a local mall with eateries, supermarket, clothes, perfume shops. If hiring a car it's nicely placed to explore the island too...I'd recommend this hotel and all it's facilities including a spa (which I enjoyed a massage in). Highly recommended. They also have entertainment however, we didn't access this due to our young children.

This is a nice hotel but is showing signs of age.. Lovely reception area & rooms big & clean.. Food is nice & breakfast plentiful.. Buffet style which for me gets repetitive so did venture out & have some lovely meals out.. Pool area is big but sunbeds, brolly's & tables need replacement not good for 5*.. Pool lining is lifting & needs replacement.. Staff lovely & friendly.. Apart from the pool area this hotel is nice & the surroundings are good & just needs a little TLC..

We have a 3 week timeshare apartment here & we love it! Staff are excellent, the hotel & gardens are kept v clean & tidy. Location is good with the Forum a walk away & some v good restaurants nearby. Worth a visit.
