OK Rent a Car - Porto

The good: the car was easy to drive and nice. One of the female employees was very nice and helpful. The shuttle car driver was very kind and helpful. The bad: They said I scratched the rim of one of the tires and for this they charged me 200€! I didn't scratch the rim. There was a very tiny superficial scratch on the rim which I never would have noticed but the guy who did the inspection marked it and said I must pay 200€. This is a total rip off. It looks like a scratch that is so light it could be buffed out easily. The guy was very rude and said this is what happens when you assume liability for the car. Beware that they will charge for every little thing if you don't buy their expensive insurance. I had my own insurance which I'll now have to file a claim with for this damage which I didn't cause but nonetheless am expected to pay for. 200€ is such an exaggeration for something so insignificant.

Avoid these crooks. They just want your money. The car you're going to rent is a mere trick. Once I denied their insurance, the clerk repeatedly tried to induce me to buy their coverage asking questions about the policy of my own coverage. I said no one more time and he kept insisting. Don't be lured by their low prices on the web. They will try to pursue more money afterwards.

Very, very good! Quick in deliver the car, situated at 200m from a gas station and 500m from the motorway entrance. All new and full equipped cars, excellent employes! I strongly recommend this rent-a-car in Oporto!

THIS IS A SCAM, not a company. Booked online for 150 eur, making sure that they accept debit card. Upon arrival I m asked to either provide a CREDIT card (which I didn't have) or pay an additional 270 eur, which is almost the double of what I had already payed. They refused to refund me, or cancel my booking. This is just plain, unshameful, robbery. These guys are CRIMINALS. Avoid them like the plague.

Wort experience ever!! the company has built a system to rip off customers. I have the evidence to back it up. yes, the rates are not expensive but be careful when you return the car.
