We eventually got the car, but the whole thing was very confusing and shady. Til the end we were not sure whether they were scamming us or not. On the other hand, we got a car for a decent price when all the other providers were saturated.
Easy trouble free rent a car service. Managed to book a rental car in an extremely busy period (mid august), reasonable rates for a class C. Easy transfer service from Madalena ferry and flexible drop off times too.
Their cancellation email went to spam and we were stuck at the airport with no car.
