Interrent Aeroporto de Faro

First of all I rented the car online with an insurance and paid for the insurance. While I picked up the car the Interrent employer told me that the insurance is not valid and I have to buy another one because I booked it online and it hasn't anything to do with them afterward I found out that the insurance was valid and it is kind of a trap that Interrent does here. When I had to bring back the car I got sick the day before. I tried to extend the rental via telephone and email but I got told it was not possible to extend the car and that I have to drive all the way to faro to extend it. Which in my opinion is not very customer friendly. Luckily after a lot of emails and phone calls (and stress) they made an exception for me and I could extend the rental. At the end when I finally dropped the car I got charged an extra 50 Euro special cleaning fine because there was a little bit of sand on the seats, even though nobody told me that the car has to be returned clean. I am quite disappointed by the whole experience. I don't know if other car rentals are any better and I even doubt it but I highly don't recommend this one.

Absolute no go! Don't rent a car with them! Total scam!!! After returning the rental car, I got an invoice with just one word "windscreen " and 400 euros to pay. They even sent 2 photos with "the damage" but there is no damage!!! Absolutley ridiculous!!! Please check the "damage photos" sent from Interrent yourself... I consider this a criminal act and I will go against it!

Worst car rental I have ever used. STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!!

Not sure why a lot of people gave bad reviews. Was very sceptical about going with them at first due to the cheap deals they were offering and the reviews. I reserved and paid for a car about 2 months ago and registered for the Key n Go service. Upon arrival at Faro airport I paid for the fuel deposit and picked up the car without any problems. I dropped it off yesterday and again no problem. Customer service was excellent throughout and to be fair I would use them again if I go back to Faro.

Cheap but >1 hr waiting time to pick up the car. They tried to overcharge on the toll device fee (30€ vs ~20€ because of supposed airport tax) and the lady at the counter seemed extremely upset that I wouldn't buy their additional insurance
