Good day! I wanted to tell you a little about the very first garden that appeared on earth! The most famous garden in history that is described in the Bible is Eden. Apparently, it was a territory enclosed, undoubtedly, by natural barriers. The garden was in "Eden in the East" and the entrance to it was on the east side. It was there, after Adam's sin, that cherubim were placed with a sword that had a fiery blade to block the path to the tree of life, which was in the middle of the garden (Genesis, chapter 2, verse 8.) (Genesis chapter 3, verse 24). The garden was beautifully watered by the river flowing from it, which was divided into four large rivers. In this park-like garden there were all kinds of trees, pleasant to look at and good for food, and other plants; it was inhabited by animals and birds. Fulfilling God's command to cultivate the earth, Adam had to take care of the garden of Eden and gradually expand its boundaries, so that eventually the whole earth would become paradise. This garden was the sanctuary, the place where God communicated with Adam and Eve; he was a wonderful home for them (Genesis 2: 9, 10, 15-18, 21, 22; Genesis 1:28; 3: 8-19)
