Temple of the Iberian Icon of the Mother of God in Ochakovo-Matveyevskoye

In Spain, specifically in my city, there is a deeply rooted Marian devotion towards a virgin called "Our Lady of Perpétuo Socorro" who is venerated on a small altar, in the church decorated with the best frescoes in the city, San Nicolás. This virgin has a particularity that distinguishes it from the rest of those that are venerated in the peninsula: it is not represented by an image, it is a painting. The avatars brought me to spend an important part of my time in Moscow and it happened that I came across a modern Orthodox church of a different architecture, I immediately began to take pictures, exterior and interior. The great surprise has been when investigating the name of the temple, which is dedicated to that particular Virgin, that painting, that icon that someone here in Russia has discovered is unique in the Iberian Peninsula and that we also venerate there in a small big city, in Valencia

God's House and that says it all. I like everything, starting from the clergy of the temple and ending with the library, which is also in the temple. Everything to the Glory of God!

Everything is. And the priests, and the choir, and the unimaginable decoration of the temple, but the parishioners do not. Near the FSB school. At least one would look at the cadet. And then not alone, but with the whole company. After all, these are the future defenders of our country. How can we live without spiritual nourishment? The temple is beautiful. Do not pass by. Come inside. And talk to the Almighty.
