Tserkov' Zachatiya Ioanna Predtechi

Wonderful temple. Quiet place. Good father.

This is the oldest temple in the Moscow region. The seal of Bytyya or the "Kolomna beast" on the north side of the temple still guards it. Unique architecture of the 14th century!

A beautiful temple, an architectural monument that has preserved traces of buildings of several centuries and styles, and also has several rare Orthodox icons that are not often found in our churches. It is not always open, but the temple has its own website with information about the schedule of services.

In general, all the monasteries and churches of Kolomna are impressive. Unfortunately, this church was raided literally before leaving home, but I am very glad that I visited this house of God. So much grace emanates from the icons that it is beyond words. Hopefully someday get here for service.

Everything is fine here. And the opportunity to touch such antiquity is just a miracle.
