arrived to find my room had bars on the windows and they served porridge 3 times a day
Robbers, trying to steal your money, taking you hostage after Thomas Cook went bankrupt.
Reception:
The employees are nice and help where they can. The ITS tour guide was also very accommodating.
Investment:
Well maintained. Pool ladder etc. Are a bit decrepit and wobble.
The area outside the hotel is not very well-kept and just dirty in the direction of the main road.
Room:
The buildings are a bit older overall. Furniture and doors in particular are badly worn. The fridge was very noisy and also a bit dirty / wet.
The room service is ok We had an economy room. This and the balcony were quite large. Room service was very good.
Restaurant,
Breakfast is possible from 6:30 a.m. Butter was only available here from 7am. There is coffee from a Nescafe machine.
The selection at the lunch and dinner buffet is good, I personally missed herbs and spices. There was also no cinnamon when asked.
Cheap plastic cutlery is provided for cakes and desserts.
That's one point deducted.
Conclusion:
For a week's vacation it was very nice. For a second week, more variety and a more attractive immediate environment would make sense.
With great pleasure again.
Everyone tries hard.
This is an excellent hotel. With an extraordinary garden, very clean swimming pools and a gastronomy of very high quality.
