Royal Beach

Extremely bad hotel. The staff are rude and unhelpful, the air conditioning is almost nonexistent in some rooms, and the rooms are dirty.

Stayed in the Royal Beach for two weeks back in 2005. I must say that Tunisia is an awesome place and the people are so friendly. We’ve always tried to explore any holiday destinations that we go to. However it was around the end of our first week and we (oh yes when I say we I mean me, my partner. My daughter who was 7 at the time and the in laws Colin aka Rambo & his good lady wife Linda) well we decided to be a bit more adventurous and explore the near surroundings of our hotel to be honest by then we were familiar with the near surroundings and were curious as to what lay beyond. It was just after our evening meal when we decided to go for a stroll. Trying to decide where to go we continued to walk and chat and before we knew it, we were wandering around the backstreets curiously looking in the shops that are normally way off the beaten track. We ended up near a construction site that had partly opened a new stretch of road where we had to zig zag across those were the days anyway we all made it back safe and sound to take in what was left of the entertainment and to be honest once again it’s fascinating just watching and listening to the locals having a chill out with a mezzo platter. All in all Tunisia is a wondrous destination that has been plucking at my heartstrings for many a year I long to be back amongst those beautiful friends that are forever enshrined in my heart

not that a great place that I would recommend.
