Friendly hotel and friendly and helpful staff,a good restaurant!
Upon check in the receptionist could not find my reservation and looked at me as if to say what would you like me to do about that! She then proceeded to serve 2 other customers and try to ignore me, after kicking up a fuss she made us wait more than 40 minutes until she would give us a room.
She made us feel intimidated that we had done something wrong, I thought they were going to ask us to pay again! Thankfully they didn’t but their advertised room rate is €75 but I only paid £28 via Expedia and even with this rate I felt short changed.
The internet did not work, we asked why and she just shrugged her shoulders & said it’s sh*t!! Unbelievable, she then asked us to speak Spanish as she couldn’t speak English.
I complained to Expedia to advice them on this awful experience and hope nobody else is forced to stay here.
My advice - don’t stay in Sidi Bouzid (Sidi BS more like!), and this place doesn’t deserve to be a hotel.
