Rip off foreigners, rude yoga instructor, extremely overpriced, lied about which credit cards they will accept- told to just put my us card on file until I get my taiwanese bank card, then refused to accept it. Terrible experience here, avoid at all costs.

A good, spacious gym (for Taiwanese standards) with clean and up to date equipment.nYou can deadlift here without any issues.nnThe only thing I would suggest is that they add 2.5kg and 1kg plates to the barbell/ squat rack sections to make it easier to progress. They have two different weight systems (lbs and kgs) which is kind of annoying, why not just use KGs? The smallest plates they have are 5lbs, so you are forced to jump a minimum of 5kg/ 10lbs in weight at the barbell. Most programs only recommend 5lb or 2kg increases per week/session, so having to jump a minimum of 10lbs is inconvenient if you follow a program.nnPlease include 1kg plates for the barbells!

Great assortment of equipment and all very new.

Nice facility, terrible customer service. Received a 15 day free pass from a different location, found out that the Zhubei location was closer to me, and they turned me away. What difference does it make? It's a free pass! I could understand if I had a membership to one location, but a free pass is to allow me to get a feel for the gym and their staff to see if I like it. The way they treated me was all I needed to know. World Gym did not treat me like that. They wouldnt even let me use the restroom before I left. 0 out of 5 stars for me.
