Fahua Temple

The Fahua temple is the temple I go to when I want to be in the most precious loving peaceful blessed Buddhist energy.... I love this sweet place. For those who know such energy this is the place to go. Silence .... what more can I say .... a blessing.

Really great place to visit off the beaten path. It took some effort to find since Lonely Planets instructions were a bit off (look for house number 46, not 76) and then down the adjacent alley. We spent a lot of time looking at the very large and very scary sculptures of demons and the cute big Buddha. Deftly recommend!!!

It is rare that there are still large trees with a history of at least 300 years in Tainan, but the temple has been rebuilt many times and only has a history of 30 to 40 years.

Level 3 monuments, but unfortunately the pillars were found to be broken, termites were found, no relevant remedial and protective measures were seen
