Jiji Station

88 year old colonial Japanese train station that is still active today. Originally built to ship the camphor tree materials to markets. JiJi is also known for their banana farms so you find some treats and snacks made from bananas.... including fried banana and skin. The skin part isn’t that great

A lovely, small nostalgic train station (still in operation) with interesting and educational history and backgrounds, always overwhelmed by tourists on weekends.

Nice nostalgic railway station. Seems like this area is famous for bananas. Do check out some of the banana street food sold near this location.

Nice traditional station in the heart of Taiwan. There is an old train machine next to the station for visitors to enjoy. There are public toilets that can be used. In the nearby areas there are several shops selling banana egg roll, which seems to be typical from here.
