Busy station, sad to see them redevelop the old station as I have many memories of using the old station from years ago, hope they retain some of the old charm with the new station but I do know from other developments that this will not be the case.

Understand if the station is not as clean as station in capital city. After all that station is full of memory to local people, especially the elderly.

Use HSR (700 series) of Taiwan and feel more comfortable than Japan ud83dude02

One of the most busy train station. A lot of passengers.nThere are some store that you can buy foods.nRestroom rate 3star.nStation is not convenient for PWD.

I don’t see the point of rebuilding a new station right beside the old one, just so that we get to walk a few more minutes through the overpass to and from the new platforms, while the old rail and platforms just sit there with no signs of being used in any other way.nThe rails seem to have been removed but I still don’t get it, the original station did need some refurbishing, but why build a new one over it? Now the front exit is situated at this weird corner of a tiny road, instead of facing the large roundabout, and most of the people from the front must walk the extra minutes upstairs, which is better than the underpass but not by a great deal, it’s still crowded, the path still zigzags, and still not enough elevator/escalators. If the plan was to eventually include the original station, maybe after finally getting those rails underground, then this would at least make some sense, but it’s been years and I don’t see it happening.
