It's a very welcoming place in a very serene and quiet part of the city. Very easy to get to via the metro and with signs leading you up the staircase when you come out of it. The museum itself is a house of the author that tells of his biography and literary works. One can also stay for occasional lectures and events on Ukrainian literature, culture and folklore. Mind you, if you aren't a fan of the author - there is little to entertain you.

An authentic place. The original atmosphere preserved untouched.

I went there for a lecture about Lesya Ukrainka. Very cozy nice place. Interesting scientific events often take place there. You can read about it on Facebook or watch it on YouTube.

Today we visited the museum, pleasantly surprised: in good condition, a lot of interesting things, extremely attentive friendly employees of the museum. A bright memory at such a difficult time.

An absolute must-visit to feel the spirit of the Ukrainian post-war intelligentsia. Rylsky is a fantastic figure, which is really interestingly told by guide Victor. Rooms where time has stopped, but stories from the life of a Ukrainian genius with a difficult fate come to life. Without pathos and with a lot of biographical and everyday interests. And from there, a walk through the Holosiivsky Forest to the pond is a wonderful family format.
