Mszhana (Mszana bog) is a hydrological monument of national importance in Ukraine. It is located in the Rozhnyativ district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, west of the village of Osmolodi. Area protected area of 6 hectares. Status of 1975. The swamp is located on the territory of the Osmolod state forestry (Mshansky forestry), on the left bank terrace of the Moloda river, below the mouth of the river Mszany, at an altitude of 763–773 m above the river. Protected is a rare bog for the Carpathians with peat deposits. Marsh has an oval shape. It is surrounded on all sides by a pine forest. In the swamp, the tree tier is sparse and depressed; it is formed by European spruce and common pine from 1 to 4 m in height. Pine mountain up to 1 m in height occurs. Swamp overgrown with shrub-sphagnum groups. Blueberries, blueberries and dropsy of black are predominant, with herbaceous plants - vaginal down. Cranberry marsh and small-fruited cranberries, roundworms are less likely to occur. In the moss cover is dominated by sphagnum brown with an admixture of sphagnum magellanic. Sedge communities located on the edge of the swamp stripe width of 5 m. In their composition occurs sedge malokvitkova listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. The protected area is interesting in the faunistic aspect. On the flowering shrubs of black and blueberry drops, three types of bumble bees and butterflies of a black Ethiopian are noted.
