A week ago I visited TROSTYANETS (for the umpteenth time! 😊) as part of the #We travel_through_Ukraine program My family and I were very welcome at the Trostyanets museums. What wonderful and selfless people work there! They carefully preserve their heritage, piece by piece collect the history of their region, famous people from Trostyanets, or those who worked in this city and created their wonderful works there - Tchaikovsky, Chekhov. In the very center of the city, in the old KENIGA MANOR, there is an interesting museum that contains several departments. There is a museum of local lore and a museum of the history of the founders of the estate, several rooms are dedicated to famous people and Ukrainian life. There is a room in which a tribute is paid to the memory of those who died in World War II and the war in Donbass ... In the Great Hall there is a beautiful piano, an exhibition of paintings and a place for wedding photo sessions 👰 The second floor is dedicated to the last owner of the estate - industrialist and philanthropist Konig, his family, manufactories and factories. And also - to Tchaikovsky, life was recreated, some personal belongings of the composer were preserved. The wide terrace of the second floor offers a beautiful panorama of the central alley of the park and the Round Dvor 🤩 In the left wing of the estate there is a small but interesting MUSEUM OF CHOCOLATE 🍫 The exposition shows the entire production process and the history of the origin of this dessert 😋 Matveyka, of course, most of all liked the halls with modern installations - Milka the cow and a rocket from cookies 😁 I really miss some kind of tasting in this museum, even for an additional fee. Or at least a branded candy store nearby. Another very important point - the wonderful guide Julia Duma introduced us to the museums. She very lively and actively led the excursion, no water, only important facts and interesting stories! Without this accompaniment, perhaps a completely different impression of the museum would have been. Special thanks to the director Yevgeny Vasilyevich Malovichko, who responded very quickly to my request, despite the weekend and the call just an hour before arrival. It is very noticeable that these people are dedicated to their work and really try to make Trostyanets a cultural and tourist center of Sumy oblast 👍😊

The most beautiful thing is that this estate is watched, both inside and outside. There is a museum: local history, art, chocolate and Koenig's office. Inside you can buy souvenirs) A comprehensive ticket to museums costs 70 UAH, a guide is 100. The guide, by the way, is a very good and interesting woman, thank you very much for the informative excursion)

Everything moves in a spiral. Once we scolded the capitalists of bloodsuckers from all the stands. Now we are trying to preserve at least some memory of those people and call them patrons. I like to wander around the museum, introducing those people who lived there, their manners, orders. What did they dream about? What were your plans? At that time, honor and conscience were held in high esteem. Now everything has replaced the thirst for profit. Sad and sad.

I remember her in the 90s, when she actively fell apart and pulled apart, broken tiles, dilapidated stairs. Gratitude to the local authorities who were able to save the estate from destruction.
