Very interesting peak back to the grim soviet times. The building is shabby, but the expo is quite well looked after, and the staff go out of their way welcoming visitors. A 1-hour stopover is well worth it. PS make sure you grab a morsel of puppy-friendly food for their outside living friends

Small and pleasant museum with cheerful Soviet art pieces. As many provincial museums building is not in best condition. Museum Staff efforts to preserve collection deserve respect. Totally worth visiting

Totally worth a half-day trip from Kyiv or Zhytomir! Friendly stuff, beautiful building, lovely art works. Entrance fee is 15 uah plus 30 uah if you want to take pics 😉 Get there by car and have a decent gas station lunch at Socar afterwards.

Great place with different art of the era

For everyone who is nostalgic for the best that happened during the Soviet era: stunning sculptures and sculptural compositions on all themes of a bygone era, graphics, paintings - both in the glorified socialist realism, and so gentle, gentle ... you will look ... did not regret a second and it is a pity that we could not stay longer to wander. The museum is underfunded, and this is a crime of the state! I need to preserve my history, increase the exposure, popularize this place, otherwise I live an hour's drive from it for 20+ years, and I found out absolutely by accident ...
