Great place to visit when u r in Kyiev..

Very good! Very interesting. Electronic 'tours' available in several languages. Staff don't really understand English but you can get by. Easy enough to find. A must if you're interested in Chernobyl.

Inexpensive, though I feel the history could be preserved better. You're able to get closer to a lot of the pieces than I am comfortable with, and they are clearly not reproductions. The rooms with pieces behind glass are more safe from accidental damage or tampering

First things first: it's not a museum, its a memorial. They charge you 2 times more if you want to take pictures, but honestly, there are only 3 places on the entire museum you could take: of the cars in the entrance (free), in the hall (free) or in the area with a little boat (paid). They only accept cash. There's an ATM nearby but you can enter if someone is leaving because you need a proper cart to enter. There's a lot of pictures, manly of the people who died in the disaster. All the atmosphere is grisly. There's an audio tour indeed. You can spend no more than 30min there. The price is really cheap but, for me, it ok for a memorial, not for a ”museum”

What a tragedy! I spend an hour or less in this one floor museum with almost 7000 pieces “cleaned” from Chernobyl place. I saw a kids group getting to know the unfortunately incident with the tour guy explaining to them. Unfortunate everything in Ukrainian so I highly recommend to take the device at the entrance when you buy your ticket also you should buy the right to take photos with your phone all that is very little price. Don’t forget to take with you a tissue 😭.
