It is a pity that the Soviet authorities almost "on their last breath" managed to destroy the ancient great church. The monument to Taras Shevchenko itself is worthy of attention, at least because in Zhytomyr region such a majestic monument to the poet is rarely met.

A beautiful monument on the site of the old church building of 1812. They say that people came from all over Ukraine. Was blown up in the 80 years of the last century.
