Every year we travel from Poltava to the island of Khortytsia as a pilgrimage to the "place of strength", recharged with positive and extreme energy of jumping from the bridge, 45 meters above the water. This is something incredible, when you have an adrenaline rush and then a feeling of incredible excitement from a few seconds of weightlessness.

As a bridge - an ordinary bridge that performs its function of connecting two banks. From an aesthetic point of view, an ordinary bridge in general, nothing outstanding. In terms of comfort for pedestrians, it is not good anywhere: the paths are tattered on both sides, the barriers are dusty, dirty, with peeling paint. This year, part of the path was poured with concrete, leaving no room for walking. Grateful townspeople left their footprints in the concrete. And now it's even more unpleasant to walk there than it was before the "repair". There are no bike paths. Cars usually fly at high speeds, so driving on the highway is just scary. Well, the views from the bridge: either the quarry, or the dam and Kichkas with factories.
