I can say that I was just lucky to visit the Serednyansky wine cellars. They are located in a small village and belong to the Leanka agro-industrial firm, an enterprise for winemaking, production and processing of agricultural products. "Leanka" in Hungarian means "girl", this is a grape variety from which Serednyanskoye wine has been produced for 70 years. I went to the village at my own peril and risk by a regular bus in the afternoon and, oh luck, a group just arrived and I was joined to it. Otherwise, I would just kiss the castle. Therefore, advice - be sure to call the plant and specify when you can come for an excursion and tasting. Do not forget that this is an operating enterprise and, naturally, it does not work on weekends, and on weekdays it works until about 15 hours. The village is still. I came not so much to taste the products as to see the unique wine cellars of the 16th century, the oldest in the country and Europe, where the wines of the only state winery mature. It is no coincidence that the Serednyansky cellars are listed by UNESCO in the ten best wine cellars in Europe. The dungeons were built by captive Turks, first as fortifications, and later they began to be used to store wine barrels. Once upon a time, during the time of kings and kings, middle peasant wines were supplied to the best European courts. And now tourists can also taste and buy vintage wines.

Highly recommend for a visit! An informative and interesting excursion that smoothly turns into a tasting. Excellent wines that you can buy right there in the store at a very nice price. In warmer months, I recommend taking a jacket - it's cool in the basements.
