The collective of the production management of the water supply system "Donets" made a decision to create a museum "Water" and the story begins in 1978. Employees of the enterprise collected documents for four years, starting from 1932 - the construction of the North Donetsk water pipeline. They also designed the museum on their own. Management engineer Sergey Komarov became the author of most of the design solutions. In 1982, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Donets PUVH, the Museum of the history of labor and military glory of management was opened. Later it became known as the Museum of Water. In March 1987, by a decree of the collegium of the Ministry of Culture of the Ukrainian SSR, he was awarded the title of national. The leading place in the exposition is taken by a diorama of a corner of nature in the village of Kochetok, models of ancient water pipes and operating water intake columns. The museum offers guided tours for everyone. Also, themed exhibitions are regularly held in the museum. The schemes of the Seversky Donets River basin are of great interest to visitors. and water supply in Kharkov.

The museum is more likely to remind not only of water, but also of working days and the achievements of Soviet times. It is not in vain located here because it is located near the water treatment complex of the city of Kharkov "Seversky Donets", which draws water from the Pecheneg reservoir. A visit to the museum is useful for schoolchildren to form an awareness of the protection of the ecology of the planet. Interesting here

An abandoned, useless building. Very sorry.
