National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine

Museum of Folk Architecture and Life (Pirogovo) is the largest museum in Ukraine situated on 150 hectares big area. Have a feeling of real immersion in the coloring of the Ukrainian village. Here you can feel the "soul" of Ukrainian people. The huts, the oldest of which is dated to 1587 are filled with samples of household items, clothing, icons. There are modern craftsmen reviving traditional crafts according to old traditions in the museum. Can enjoy historic scenery as well as the living spirit of hard working and fun having Ukrainian people.

Very interesting place, where one can see traditional villages and their construction from different Ukrainian areas.

The museum of traditional Ukrainian culture and architecture. Located in 10 min from metro station. Here is really cool atmosphere becose the museum absolutely free from urban style. It's like a vintage villige with landscapes. Highly recommended to visit for tourist who wants to see Ukrainians life before XX century.

This place I have visited many times,it is ideal to visit during the months of June July August and September.It is very nice to run there during the spring season,see the beautiful flowers and sunflowers and wild flowers .
