Museum of Partisan Glory Polissja

On Lyahina Street, this museum about Mykolaiv’s underground partisan movement in the Second World War (Great Patriotic War) is in a splendid Russian Classical mansion. The location has its own tale to tell as it was used by the Cheka secret police for a time, and on the facade is a memorial plaque for Victor Alexandrovich Lyagin, an NKVD operative who was executed by the Nazis for fighting with Partisans in 1943. The museum is loaded with propaganda posters, photographs, footage, maps, weapons and a motorcycle, all from the Second World War in this region.

We gathered together with my wife and baby on Sunday, April 21, to the Museum of Partisan Glory, arrived and were simply upset. The painting of the museum’s work indicated that the museum was open until 6 pm, the cash desk was open until 5 pm, closed on Monday, but alas, on Sunday, April 21, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, no one came to the museum to open the second door on which there was a lock at the top. Attempts to find out in nearby stores can someone that saw, phone, unfortunately did not lead to positive results. It's a shame, it's a shame that the employees of the museum in Slovecheno do so irresponsibly, although on websites and guidebooks everything is so beautifully painted.
