Museum of Toys

It was interesting, with lots of classic toys from different eras. It's more for adults that kids though.

Interesting. Google Maps directions were dead on accurate. Upon entering a large building (similar to an apartment building)you encounter a lady, show picture of toy museum go up stairs go left. Cost 30,00 UAH. A nice little exhibition but they need international language. It appears some of the items are very old. It also makes you sad if you grew up with these toys (like I did), you realize your grandchildren will never use their imagination like you did. They will not experience riding a stick horse for 10 kilometers. The pedal car pictures is excellent. Remember teach your children to play.

Very good place for children I guess. Good to know of the different toys and materials used.

It's a humble state museum with a remarkable collection of toys. There are objects from Soviet era as well as some other objects from abroad such as USA, Germany, Poland, France, China and Ireland. The museum has a warm atmosphere and polite employees. It's located in a building which also includes a school and a course of music. The ticket office is located one floor below ground and museum itself is in the ground floor. In the museum there is a painting station for children. It's a good place to explore. If you are on a tour you can also visit "National Military History Museum" located at Kriposnyi Lane. Marinsky Park and Palace and Arsenalna Metro Station which stands as world's deepest metro station with it's 105m depth are other interesting places not far from the museum.
