Starting from the top floor where the plants are presented, you see old Soviet uninformative signs. Absolutely nothing is mentioned except the name in three languages. The appearance of the exhibit does not capture children or adults. Why is there no basic information? In plants, age and benefit or reservation, in animals, weight, quantity, something else. Geological description in fossils and minerals. There is no progress, fish and reptiles in the tubes are so old and white that merge with formalin, can't indicate the color, and in general, no characteristics. Development. Impressions of being in the USSR. The children liked only a two-headed kitten. By the way, all information screens are turned off, grandmothers in the halls do not know what they are being asked. It is a pity for all this, because the museum is a well like jewels, that can be approached closely.

Good place for nature, historical lovers. A lot of animals and different lifeforms. 4 floors! So keep patient and be strong! As for me, better to visit in cold times (autumn, winter). Anyway you have a lot of fun and new knowledge.

In a dignified Neoclassical mansion, Dnipro’s National History Museum follows the story of the city and region back to the Stone Age. As well as prehistoric tools there are some riveting artefacts recovered from local Scythian burial mounds, which are up to 3,000 years old. Where the museum really shines is in its galleries for Dnipro’s Industrial and 20th-century history. You can peruse the fruits of Dnipro’s manufacturing industry, like weapons, a mine cart and a tractor. There’s also an engaging exhibition of propaganda posters, the most disturbing from the man-made Holodomor famine that killed up to 10 million in 1932-33.
