Today we want to tell you about the Grocholsky-Tereshchenko Palace in the Zhytomyr Region. The impressive, now dilapidated three-story neo-Gothic building with two towers was erected by the Polish magnate Adolf Grokholsky in 1851. Wonderful even in a dilapidated condition, the Tereshchenko Palace in the village of Chervone seems to emerge from the thickets. This building impresses not only with its size, but also with its architectural solutions, and in one of its rooms there is even a theater! The palace was built on three floors, its shape - a quadrangle, but decorated with three towers. Two more so-called castle towers served as separate pavilions. Interestingly, even the stable and several outbuildings were built in the same neo-Gothic style. The pearl of the palace was the central staircase of special white marble and the ballroom, decorated with chandeliers made of Venetian crystal. Today, only the walls of Tereshchenko's palace remain, but they also bear the imprint of a luxurious life that lasted until 1917. Unfortunately, in the Soviet era, the palace was constantly transferred to different owners, who did not care much about preserving it for future generations.

The place is beautiful. But getting there is a very bad road. Free entrance. The monastery is now located on the territory. Architecture is just on the verge of reality.
