I hope that its new owners will succeed in everything planned and the house will live. Very beautiful villa inside, chic ceilings, stairs to the second floor, balcony, good condition for abandonment. Access is practically non-existent at present.
I don’t know why, but Google doesn’t show the real way to this villa. You have to go to the lake and the pillars from the gate behind the lake, and the road begins into the depths of the park. The building will either collapse or become the property of new owners who have already built a fence back to back
In the nineteenth century, there was already another palace in this place, which Mecislav Mazaraki considered too close for his family. Therefore, the old palace was demolished and a Tuscan-style villa was built in its place in 1887 by architect Stanislav Boretsky. The architectural feature of the palace is four different facades, which decorate risolites, loggias, balconies and terraces. The decoration of the main facade is a polygonal tower. The appearance of the building from the moment of construction to the present day has hardly changed, only two lying lions of Carrara marble carved in Rome that adorned the main entrance were lost.
An abandoned place, sorry nobody cares
Raigorodok is also known as a former Jewish town. In the center of the village is an old park, which has preserved a villa built by Mechislav Ludwik Mazaraki coat of arms Nevlin
Maria Mazaraki (1880-1966), the last owner of the estate, said that inside the house was decorated with wood of different shades, parquet and murals were made by Warsaw masters, the dining room was decorated with rare samples of old porcelain and furniture in the "Gdansk" style. The two salons in the house also had a luxurious filling - the first had furniture covered with dark green silk, one closet decorated with pearls, and the other - bronze, and the second was decorated with furniture covered with gray-blue silk with gold patterns. The owners of the villa also had a large collection of paintings, various vases, statues and more.
There was a club in the building in Soviet times, and at the beginning of the new millennium there was an office. Therefore, it is more or less preserved. Now the villa is abandoned, the door is locked and it is gradually falling apart. Some local nouveau riche took possession of the entire rear area and part of the rear of the building and fenced themselves.
