Interesting exhibits of old and modern folk ceramics. Nice place, but not as picturesque as the open air museum/exhibit. If you have enough time/energy for both places, consider buying the "combined" ticket which gives access to all sites.

The first place what I visited in Opishnja. The most interesting is open air exposition.

And here you can walk everywhere - and on the lawn, too :) I asked! :) Good throughout, there is access to the pond. Inside several exhibition halls. You can buy souvenirs and books. As of the beginning of November 2020 - further. In the big hall we managed to see a large (aha, tautology) exhibition of ceramics to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Vasyl Onufriyovych Omelyanenko, this is probably the oldest potter in Poltava region. Works of different years. The variety is simply amazing! But in another, only already small, not separated from the hall hall on the same ground floor was lucky to see a not yet fully formed new exhibition, which did not even have a name :) On the second floor, no matter where you look - interesting! Already on the stairs, the focus is on three (and a half!) Women or female characters, along with whom the dog also plays chess with ... well, that half (which comes after all). Metaphors of the artist (and not the philosopher?) Andriy Ilyinsky are also on the street. Several halls on the second floor of the art gallery. Exhibition of ceramics by Oleksandr Miroshnychenko from Kochetko, Kharkiv Region. Exhibition of works by local master Valentina Loboychenko to the 50th anniversary of his birth. "Captive of Opishne colors." I liked the small works, you can look around for a long time - and all so different :) An exhibition of her works dedicated to the 60th anniversary of Tetyana Pavlyshyn-Sviatun from Lviv region. The small bright white hall nevertheless fascinates. Retro exhibition of ceramics of the Lviv Experimental Ceramic and Sculpture Factory. The factory is no longer working. And the products are stored here in the museum. Mostly 70-80 years of the last century, the authors of most works are unknown. And what is the Krychevsky International Biennale worth! Products, probably, from all over the world! Different techniques, different genres, something very modern, something with a soulful echo of ancient traditions. How informative !;)
